Video Poker: Pay Table Selection
Each game type has associated pay tables found in casinos. Some have just one or two while others have over 40. Just scroll through to find the one of interest - perhaps while looking at an actual video poker machine's pay table. Clicking Select makes it your default until you change it. Also, a pay table can be identified as a progressive table allowing you to change values dynamically.
Settings control how much information is displayed in the tables. Below we see the minimum and maximum standard deviation for the game (these can be different depending on how tied hands are chose as discussed here) and the overall probabilities for each outcome. Also, all abbreviation, such as WRSF, can be clicked to see its definition as shown below. This is true whenever payouts are shown, including on the Game Play and Practice screens.
For many games, an "idea of the game" button depicted as a light bulb appears on the top, left of the screen, as discussed in the Game Selection discussion here.
For almost every game, one can now build their own pay table. The first pay table, colored orange, and named "Your PayTable" can be altered by just tapping in the table. This brings-up a dialog to modify payouts. Clicking the OK buttom then results in all statistics being computed (expected value, standard deviations - minimum and maximum - and probabilities. These tables can be selected and used just as any built-in table.
